Onto to the Semifinals

Gevvie won her quarterfinal in the second fastest time of the day, with a patient and composed race, rowing through Austria before the 1000 meter mark, and doing the same to Switzerland in the last 500 meters. Defending World Champion Kim Brennan had the fastest time of the day. Gevvie is now scheduled to race in Semifinal 2, on Friday at 9:20 AM EST. Australia’s Brennan and 2014 World Champion Emma Twigg will race in Semifinal 1, at 9:10 AM. Please note that due to the weather situation the racing schedule may change, and this change may also impact Andrew and Josh’s race, which is scheduled for Thursday at 8:10 am.
